Seed kits, drip irrigation and training in organic methods have helped over a thousand households grow vegetables for their own kitchens and for sale.
This initiative was made possible thanks to generous donors, dedicated volunteers and the tireless work of local community leaders who believed change was possible.
From Their Soil to Their Plate
Our team carried out a detailed needs assessment before designing the program, ensuring it reflected the community’s own priorities. Transparent budgeting, regular progress reviews and close coordination with local authorities kept the project on track from day one.
- Over 900 community members directly benefited within the first phase.
- Approximately 225 volunteer hours were contributed by local supporters.
- Sustainability was built in through training and locally owned management structures.
“We don’t just deliver projects — we build capacity, so that communities can continue the work long after we leave.” — Program Director
