Self-help groups, small loans and hands-on training are unlocking the entrepreneurial spirit of rural women. Kinsa, a mother of three, now runs a tailoring shop that supports her entire family.
This initiative was made possible thanks to generous donors, dedicated volunteers and the tireless work of local community leaders who believed change was possible.
Small Loans, Big Dreams
Our team carried out a detailed needs assessment before designing the program, ensuring it reflected the community’s own priorities. Transparent budgeting, regular progress reviews and close coordination with local authorities kept the project on track from day one.
- Over 200 community members directly benefited within the first phase.
- Approximately 50 volunteer hours were contributed by local supporters.
- Sustainability was built in through training and locally owned management structures.
“We don’t just deliver projects — we build capacity, so that communities can continue the work long after we leave.” — Program Director
